Overview

The Retirement visa is designed for foreign nationals who wish to retire in Thailand. There are two types: O-A (single) and O-X (married).

Eligibility Requirements

O-A Visa (Single/Divorced)

• •Age: Must be 50 years or older
• •Financial Requirements: Either deposit 800,000 THB in a Thai bank OR have monthly income of 65,000 THB
• •Background: No criminal record

O-X Visa (Married)

• •Couple: At least one spouse must be 50 years or older
• •Financial Requirements: Either deposit 1,600,000 THB total OR combined monthly income of 65,000+ THB
• •Documentation: Valid marriage certificate
